Carolina Garcia
Hello everyone! I am a recent graduate from CSU San Bernardino, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a major in Kinesiology with a concentration in Allied Health Professions. My motivation to pursue physical therapy is rooted by my fascination with how the human body adapts across the lifespan and across different rehabilitation cases, and was further explored through my experience in bone health research in relation to resistance training during my undergraduate career. All of which resulted in leading professional conference presentations and co-authoring my honors senior research thesis on the effects of resistance training in post-menopausal women. After receiving my Bachelor’s of Science, I had the wonderful opportunity of volunteering at this clinic, obtaining hands-on experience in the field, training me for the physical therapy technician position in August 2024. During my free time, I enjoy nature walks with my family and dog as well as crocheting various projects and travelling through the country and beyond. I am planning to start my Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree in 2025, and in the meantime, I look forward to meeting all of you on your rehabilitation journey and gaining more clinical experience at Citrus Valley Physical Therapy and Wellness Center.
