Cristina Baltazar
After a few visits here you stop watching the clock and start recognizing faces. Cristina Baltazar is usually one of them. She studied kinesiology and exercise science at CSU San Bernardino, spent three years working as a physical therapy technician, and has spent the past year leading the technician team. She sets up your station, guides you through the exercises your physical therapist prescribed, and keeps the floor moving so your session starts on time and stays yours. She plans to begin a DPT program in summer 2025.
Four years on the same floor.
Three years as a physical therapy technician and a year leading the technician team means Cristina has followed a lot of plans of care from the first cautious rep to the last one. Her background is kinesiology and exercise science at CSU San Bernardino, and a DPT program is next for her. What that experience buys you is unglamorous and worth a lot: the person setting up your station knows what the exercise is for, what good form looks like, and when to call your physical therapist over.
Family, movies, and Disneyland.
Off the clock, Cristina spends her time with her partner and her family. Movies are the default plan. When they want a full day out, it is usually Disneyland. Ask her about the last trip and you will get an answer.
