Hello everyone! Carolina recent graduate from CSU San Bernardino, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a major in Kinesiology with a concentration in Allied Health Professions. Her motivation to pursue physical therapy is rooted by her fascination with how the human body adapts across the lifespan and across different rehabilitation cases, and was further explored through her experience in bone health research in relation to resistance training during her undergraduate career. All of which resulted in leading professional conference presentations and co-authoring her honors senior research thesis on the effects of resistance training in post-menopausal women. After receiving her Bachelor’s of Science, she had the wonderful opportunity of volunteering at this clinic, obtaining hands-on experience in the field, training herself for the physical therapy technician position in August 2024. During her free time, She enjoys nature walks with her family and dog as well as crocheting various projects and travelling through the country and beyond. She is planning to start her Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree in 2025, and in the meantime, She looks forward to meeting all of you on your rehabilitation journey and gaining more clinical experience at Citrus Valley Physical Therapy and Wellness Center.
