Lead PT Tech

I am a recent graduate of CSU, San Bernardino, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Allied Health. During my time at CSUSB, my passion for physical therapy grew significantly, thanks to the invaluable collaboration with peers and the guidance of exceptional instructors.

My fascination with the human body has driven me to engage in research, which I’ve had the privilege of presenting at various conferences. One of my notable projects, The Gaze Study, explores how social cues, such as a pointing hand or a shift in eye gaze, influence the processing of visual information. Another project, The Body Perception Study, investigates the factors that shape how we perceive our bodies and the bodies of other individuals. This includes examining the impact of whether an individual is presented alone or in a group, surrounded by bodies of varying sizes, and in the context of physical activity versus non-physical activity settings.

I am eager to apply these experiences as I continue on my path toward becoming a physical therapist. I am excited about the opportunities ahead and the valuable experiences I will gain at Citrus Valley Physical Therapy. It is truly a privilege to serve you on your wellness journey.

Quote

“I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.”
-Nelson Mandela

I serve as a physical therapist aide, social media coordinator, and volunteer coordinator. In my role, I support patient care by assisting therapists with treatments and ensuring the clinic runs smoothly. I also manage the company’s social media presence, creating content that highlights our work and engages the community. Additionally, I coordinate volunteers by helping recruit, organize, and support them so they can contribute effectively to our programs while also advancing their own careers.

Many patients struggle with feeling discouraged or uncertain about their recovery. I want to help change that by creating an environment where patients feel supported, empowered, and truly heard. My goal is to help them build confidence in their bodies again so they can believe in their ability to heal and return to the activities that bring them joy.

I value the strong sense of teamwork and encouragement within the clinic. It’s an environment where colleagues genuinely support one another, making the work both rewarding and enjoyable. I also appreciate the emphasis on continued growth, as the clinic consistently provides opportunities to expand skills and develop both professionally and personally. Overall, it’s a workplace that fosters learning, support, and long-term growth.

I really enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors, especially when the weather is nice. I love going on hikes, swimming, and paddleboarding because they help me relax and enjoy nature. I’m also very interested in traveling and exploring new places—whether it’s discovering scenic spots, exploring new cities, or trying new restaurants and cafes. Experiencing different environments and cultures is something I always look forward to.
